The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has censured Elon Musk’s Starlink Internet Services for pre-selling and booking of the satellite based internet providers without having gotten the vital licenses in the nation, and requested that it “cease from booking/delivering the satellite internet providers in India with quick impact”.
In an official statement late on Friday, the DoT said that Starlink Internet Services, a division of SpaceX, was not “authorized to offer satellite-based internet providers in India being publicized to people in general”.
